Competition system.	Double repechage or pool/double pool systems with golden score rule by EJU will be used. 7 weight categories for men. No open category is conducted. 7 weight categories for women. No open category is conducted. The duration of each match is 5 min. Preliminaries: 5 mats (8 m x 8 m). 3 in hal A, 2 in hal B. Fights for 3^rd place: 2 mats (8 m x 8 m). Finals: 1 mat (8 m x 8 m).
Prizes.	1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals in each categori. 1000 EURO bonus award for the winners in each categori.

Accommodation.	Hotel Plaza Borås Allégatan 3, Borås. Accommodation (single, double or triple room) and board should only be booked through Borås Judoklubbs Hotel and board reservation form. The deadline for bookings will be the 30th of October 2003.
Financial conditions.	Entry fee 40 Euro. 85 Euro per day and person in a single room (full board). 60 Euro per day and person in a double room (full board). 55 Euro per day and person in a triple room (full board).

Referees.	Nominated and invited by the Swedish Judo Federation. Referees from participating countries are accepted (minimum level is National A-referee.
Antidopingcontrol.	The anti-doping control will take place after awarding ceremony.
Entries.	First entry: National federations and abroad clubs are requested to inform Borås Judokubb if they are going to participate in the Swedish Judo Open 2003. Judogi.	White and blue judogi will be required. The size of judogi and publicity placed on the judogi must do in conformity with IJF and EJU rules.
Advertisement.	Please observe the reglement of the EJU as far as advertisement on the judogi is concerned. Please not that during the tournament no back numbers on the judogis are allowed unless specified by the organizer. Back numbers of previous tournaments must be removed from the judogi.
Liability.	Neither the organizer of the event, nor the Swedish Judo Federation (not any of its officials or members) will be liable or responsible for any personal injury nor for any loss or damage to your property arising out of your participation and travelling in connection with the Swedish Judo Open 2003.
Travel costs and visa arrangements.	All the travel costs between the host countries of the foreign team to Sweden and back as well as visa costs should be taken care by the foreign teams themselves. The organisers will send the personal invitations for visa arrangements on request, but all the visa applications should be guaranteed by the national judo federation and should be left to the Swedish embassies or consulates at least 4-5 weeks before the date of final entry.
Training Camp.	After the competition there will be a three days training camp starting the 17^that 10.00 AM, and will finished the 19^th after lunch. The conditions for the training camp is 130 EUR total for one person full board. The accommodation will be in 2-4 beds cabins with camping standard.
